Pennsylvania, August 17, 2007: Acclaim Systems is proud to announce that it has achieved a Level 2 maturity rating under the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) model.

SEI is a federally funded research and development center, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense and operated by Carnegie Mellon University. SEI advances process management and software development practices to ensure that organizations operate within predictable and continually improved cost, schedule, and quality.

At Level 2, Acclaim Systems has joined a select group by meeting specific goals in six crucial process areas: Requirements Management, Project Planning, Project Monitoring and Control, Measurement and Analysis, Process and Product Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management.

The CMMI model is a standard of excellence worldwide and assures Acclaim's clients that they have a reliable software services provider. According to SEI research, CMMI Level 2 organizations are four times more efficient in software engineering than Level 1 organizations.
